  UPGRADE: I shopped here for years, and CVS sends a quarterly letter thanking me for being in the top 1% of customers based on what I spent there. A couple months ago, this store's wonderful staff added a new manager who was rude to guests, employees and (on one visit) me -- out of nowhere, the CVS entrance was papered in poorly spelled warnings ("IF YOU SEE SOMETHING, SAY SOMETHIG -- [NAME], STORE MANAGER" was one, typo included). I had enough after this new manager refused my request to honor a $3 coupon that expired the day prior -- not because of the coupon but because he was so rude, antagonist and unpleasant. I sent CVS HQ a long letter explaining my concern that this manager is either unhinged or unfit for the job, and while they were responsive the manager stayed put. I stopped shopping at CVS? Just recently, that manager left and was replaced (I asked the cashier for details, but they were professional enough not to tell me anything). Things are back to normal from what I can tell: the cashiers are still quick and friendly as always. They all greet 'regulars' by name or an effusive "welcome back", and I even had a just-expired $1 coupon honored without one sniff of hassle. Glad to be back CVS, and thank you to the corporate management staff for taking my complaint seriously and (eventually) personally by the fellow in charge of this region's CVS operations.
